The Museum of the Resistance in Piacenza was born as a place of memory to remember the fallen partisans and civilians and the population of the territory of Piacenza that for twenty months has suffered destruction and violence.
From the museum headquarters starts a historical-naturalistic route in Val d’Arda called the "partisan’s path" that through the Arda stream and the surrounding woods, which have remained largely intact, allows you to reconstruct the paths of the partisan relays, lookout points and the main places experienced by the detachments.
