The Perhentians are a group of islands about an hour’s sail from the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, but you can only stay on two of them: Perhentian Kecil and Perhentian Besar. With little imagination, in the Malay language, Kecil means "small" and Besar means "big". Both of them, however, share the wonders of the place where they are immersed: the protected area of the Terengganu Marine Park (which includes the nearby Redang) that will leave you speechless: clear water, a coral reef full of life so that from the piers you will be able to see turtles and reef sharks, white sands and lush tropical vegetation.
Here the roads are few, indeed, more than roads we should talk about paths.
