The prepositural church of St. Felix in Pincis was built in the late 1700s and early 1800s by Provost Cipriano Rastelli to a design by Neapolitan architect Gaetano Barba. The work, financed by the prince of Cimitile Gaetano Albertini, began in 1791 and involved the demolition and adaptation of some of the structures of the basilica of San Felice; it was completed, after various vicissitudes, before 1806. Rastelli's successors restored the building several times, equipping it with new furnishings. In the aftermath of the 1980 earthquake, the church remained closed until 1990. The facade consists of fine pilasters with Ionic capitals, a large arch and molded cornices. The interior, characterized by alternating half-columns and pilasters with Ionic capitals, is adorned with molded cornices, large arches, blind balustrades, and elegant festoons reflecting the neoclassical style of the late 1700s. The floor, made of white marble, replaced the old terracotta one in the 1950s. The nave is covered by a wide cross vault supported by four barrel vaults.
