You can’t be in Palermo and not eat bread with spleen, for us Sicilians "Pani c’a meusa", a typical street food of the traditional gastronomy of Palermo. that is the focaccia with spleen, lung and heart, all accompanied either by a squeeze of lemon (schetto) and "caciocavallo" cheese cut into strips or, for the most traditionalists, with the addition of ricotta (maritatu).
