To understand it, all you have to do is watch the passage of some guardian inside this corridor …. It will be enough for him to take just a few steps inside it to make the magic happen: walking inside, he will become bigger and bigger, and in just 3 steps he will become a giant as tall as the capitals of the columns. The entire gallery is a formidable play on perspective. The gallery, which appears to be about 30 metres long, actually measures just 8 metres!
