Right on Piata Unirii is the Vulturul Negru, an imposing and striking hotel built in secession style and famous for its architecture and the stained glass windows that adorn its façade.
The Vulturul Negru, or Black Eagle, today is one of the most important hotels in the city, but despite being a private building many curious people enter it to look around inside or walk through the arched passage that leads to the inner courtyard.
It is certainly one of the most photographed buildings in the city.
