In the archaeological area, which extends close to the bank of the Sele, the remains of several buildings are visible, mostly preserved at foundation level.
Two stoai (porticoes) defined since the archaic age the western and southern limits of the worship area, at the centre of which was the main temple, built at the end of the 6th century B.C. on a previous building.
To the east of the temple there are altars for sacrifices and libations, while to the north there is a rectangular structure, the so-called thesauros, to which the cycle of carved metopes from the archaic age was initially attributed.
Behind the monumental altars are the remains of a square building, of Lucanian age, probably destined to host the initiatory rites of the young girls in premarital age.
