Ostuni – The White City
Located in the province of Brindisi, Ostuni has been nicknamed the White City because of the typical low limestone houses that populate the narrow streets of its center. If the narrow streets and numerous staircases of the historical centre are surrounded by an ancient historical charm, the numerous shops and clubs animate the nightlife and summers of Ostuni. In the countryside there is a wide variety of farmhouses, old farmhouses typical of southern Italy. Many farms were abandoned at the end of the 19th century, but thanks to restoration projects, many of them have been recovered and transformed into beautiful hotels.
