The Museo dell’Olio e del Frantoio Storico Terre di Traiano is an extraordinary guided tour, at a historic farm in Andria, where the olives, still hand-picked and selected, are processed within 24 hours of collection. Particularly worth mentioning are also the grinding wheels of the historic oil mill, each weighing 560 kg, consisting of two spectacular pink granite wheels from Egypt. At the monumental farm, which is located in the centre of an area of great historical and environmental value, the Oil Museum has also been set up to illustrate, in the best possible way, all the production phases of Apulian oil.
