At Ōhaupō, on the North Island, New Zealand, stands TreeChurch, a church built entirely of living plants and trees, from the walls to the roof. It looks like the beginning of a fairy tale, but it’s all true. The TreeChurch is a living, breathing structure designed and built by Barry Cox to be a place of interest and contemplation.
The TreeChurch is available for weddings and other events, and the Gardens are open for tours and visitors.
