Nevsky Prospect is the main artery of St. Petersburg and is much more than just a street. This elegant avenue is lined with graceful buildings in the Russian Baroque style, and dotted with historic cafes, restaurants and department stores. There is also an imposing cathedral – Our Lady of Kazan – inspired by St. Peter’s in the Vatican.
