The Museum of the Risorgimento of Castelfidardo was set up in 1994 inside Palazzo Mordini, there are documents on display in memory of the famous battle of 18 September 1860, fought and won in Castelfidardo by the Armata Sarda on the Army of the State of the Church. The institution tries to contextualize the battle within the more general framework of the Italian Risorgimento: there are in fact relics and documents of the time, and about 130 finds donated by private collectors or other museums. This exhibition space is a member of the Museum System Association of the Province of Ancona.
