The Museum of the Risorgimento Faustino Tanara is based on the figure of Faustino Tanara and the local garibaldilism, within the framework of the life of Langhirano in the 19th century; in 1930 Faustino Tanara’s daughter donated to the Municipality the objects and papers that belonged to her father, a brave Garibaldi colonel. Thanks, moreover, to subsequent donations it was possible to display and order important relics of the Risorgimento and documents illustrating the daily life of the town.
