In the Museum of Ancient Organs of Santa Cecilia, the only one of its kind in Italy, rare organs and other musical instruments are exhibited. Particularly valuable are: a portative organ of 1686, two instruments of the 17th century from Emilia and central Italy, a magnificent example of Neapolitan organ-making art of the 18th century, a painted harpsichord of the Italian 17th century, an Italian grand piano of the end of the 18th century, a "Daniel Dorr" grand piano (early 19th century), another "I.Bösendorfer" grand piano (about 1840) and a "Blüthner" grand piano (about 1860). Daniel Dorr" (early 19th century), another by "I.Bösendorfer" (around 1840), a "J.B.Streicher" grand piano (around 1860) and a "Blüthner" grand piano from 1904.
