The Ladin Museum of Fassa houses the ethnographic collections of the Ladin Cultural Institute, the result of twenty years of research, in an exhibition enriched by interactive stations.
This modern and innovative museum covers the entire history of the Ladin world: prehistory, production activities, traditional society, civil and religious rituals, beliefs and traditions, up to the advent of alpinism and mass tourism.
Along the route, visitors have at their disposal 15 interactive stations that present, by choice, over 60 short films related to the topics dealt with in the exhibition sections. Particularly interesting are the drawings by the artist Milo Manara that tell the legends of the Ladin people.
In addition to the main building, the museum includes 5 local sections created in the valley thanks to the recovery of structures of ethnographic and cultural interest, such as the Venetian sawmill in Pena, the Casino di Bersaglio in Campitello and the mill in Pera.
