Musée Angladon is one of the most attractive museums in Avignon. Located in the heart of the city, it is a beautiful 18th century building, conceived as a house museum, in accordance with the testamentary wishes of its founders, the artists Jean Angladon (1906-1979) and Paulette Martin (1905-1988). Its deep mission is to share with the public the sumptuous collection of paintings and furniture.Set inside a handsome 18th-century mansion, this museum is home to a remarkable collection of 18th-, 19th- and 20th-century art. Works include masterpieces by Degas, Daumier, Sisley, Van Gogh, Cézanne, Picasso and Modigliani. On the first floor, the rooms of the house are immaculately furnished and decorated in period style.
