The Civic Museum of Todi is located in Piazza del Popolo in Todi, on the top floors of the Palazzi del Capitano e del Popolo.
The museum collects the entire history of the city of Todi showing and cataloguing objects, among the most important, found in the city and beyond (even in the surrounding area), including a marble slab dated X-XI century with the effigy of San Fortunato, Christ the Redeemer and San Cassiano, a wooden model depicting the Temple of Consolation dating back to 1571 and attributed to Ventura Vitoni, as well as the saddle of Anita Garibaldi (according to well ascertained historical sources Garibaldi, with his pregnant wife, together with the Garibaldi family passed through here, a few days before his wife died at the Valleys of Comacchio). In the picture gallery there are works by Giovanni di Pietro called Spain and Ferraù Fenzoni called Faenzone.
