Moretti House Museum
In his will of 1978, Marino Moretti left his books and autograph papers to the Municipal Library of Cesenatico. His sister Ines, ideally continuing his will, donated the house on the canal to the Municipality of Cesenatico in 1980, in order to preserve the writer’s library and archive in its original location.
Casa Moretti has thus become the seat of an important centre for the study of 20th century literature. The institute promotes cultural and research activities, as well as conservation, protection and enhancement of its heritage. Moreover, Casa Moretti, whose furnishings have been scrupulously preserved, is a museum-house" which welcomes visitors interested in the knowledge of the human and literary figure of Marino Moretti.
