Montreal’s unique indoor skating rink is located in the city’s highest skyscraper, 1000 De La Gauchetiere. An agreement with the building’s owners saw the construction of a number of public initiatives, including urban benches and the beautiful ice rink in the building’s Atrium area. Over 100,000 people are estimated to skate on the ice each year, with another 100,000 coming to watch or enjoy the entertainment options surrounding the rink.
