Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer are the four statues placed inside the long fountain basin overlooking Citylife, composed of three communicating basins. Renzo Gerla was an architect of the City of Milan, who carried out great works and renovations from the 1920s to the 1960s. One of the first projects was the Fountain of the Four Seasons, located in Piazza Giulio Cesare.
The water flows through marvellous choreographies that, during the evening hours, turn blue and red and reach a height of eight metres.
The fountain, although dating back to 1928, fits well into the Milan exhibition centre which has recently undergone and is continuing to undergo architectural modernisation.
