Facing the cathedral on the right side of the square, near the tables of a bar, is Casa Menotti. This historic building owes its name to Giancarlo Menotti, an Italian composer who lived at the turn of the twentieth century, who lived in this house until his death in 2007 and who conceived and collaborated in the realization of the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto.
In 2010 the building was purchased by the Monini Foundation to turn it into the headquarters of the Documentation Centre of the Festival of Two Worlds, a museum of about 160 square meters that collects the documentation of the festivals from 1958 to the present day.
