El Badi Palace, built in the sixteenth century to celebrate the victory of the Portuguese army in 1578 in a battle called Battle of Three Kings. These 360 pieces were decorated with the most luxurious materials, before the Sultan Moulay Ismail might use what was most precious in this palace to build the imperial city of Meknes in 1696. It remains today a vast esplanade gardens invaded and overcame stork\’s nest, surrounded by orange and high walls.
