In the Museum of the Costumes of the Chess Match, at the Lower Castle of Marostica, you will find the magnificent costumes used for the traditional chess game, which takes place every two years in the walled city square. The exhibition preserves the Whites and Blacks of the Chessboard, the contenders, the Court of the Governor, daughter and sister, the herald, the nurse and the banners, the falconers, the towers and all the costumes of the players who contribute to recreate the magical atmosphere of medieval contention.
