Fiskerull is a traditional Norwegian fish dish in which a fish fillet is stuffed and rolled with parsley and other ingredients to taste, then baked or roasted. Fiskerull can be prepared with different kinds of fish, but salmon and trout are the most common.Here is a recipe for preparing Norwegian Fiskerull:Ingredients:4 salmon or trout fillets, skinless1 cup mushrooms, sliced1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped1 clove of garlic, finely chopped1/4 cup melted butterSalt and pepper, to taste1 lemon, slicedProcedure:Preheat the oven to 200°C.In a bowl, mix the mushrooms, parsley, garlic and melted butter.Spread the mushroom and parsley mixture over the fish fillets, leaving about an inch from the edge.Roll the fish fillets on themselves, starting from the long side, and secure with a toothpick.Place the fish rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.Season with salt and pepper.Bake for about 20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.Serve with lemon slices.Fiskerull is a delicious and nutritious dish, perfect to enjoy with side dishes of potatoes, vegetables or salad.
