Los Angeles: Griffith Park

Griffith Park is a huge public park which covers 4,310 acres and is one of the largest in North America. The land which formed the initial area of the park was donated to the city in 1896 by Colonel J. Griffith a local land owner. The park has several sites which are attractions in themselves. Within the park grounds there is the Griffith Observatory, Autry National Center, LA Live Steamers Railroad Museum…
