Named after the writer Leonida Repaci (Palmi 1898 – Marina di Pietrasanta 1985), the Casa della Cultura in Palmi was inaugurated on 17 January 1982.
It is a modern and multifunctional structure, seat of civic museums, and is equipped with large rooms, an auditorium, the municipal library and a picture gallery of modern and contemporary art, where debates, concerts, cultural events and art exhibitions are held periodically.
In the large garden there are bronze sculptures and two columns from the Roman age, coming from the archaeological site of the ancient Taureana and a copy of the ancient Fountain of the Palm.
