Laila Peak, 6,096 meters high, is one of the most beautiful mountains in Pakistan. The northwest face is a ramp of 1,500 meters, at the same inclination. It is located along the Karakorum range, on the Gondogoro glacier, between the Chogolisa (or Bride Peak) and the Masherbrum (also known as K1). Two mountains that are very dear to mountaineers; names that give you the shivers and evoke epic feats. The first ascent of Laila Peak dates back to 1987; it was carried out by four Britons led by Simon Yates.
