The Lagosanto Strawberry is a fruit rich in vitamin C that strengthens the body’s natural defences, with purifying and diuretic properties thanks to the presence of potassium, and anti-inflammatory. For many years it has become the symbol of the town of Lagosanto, where 90% of the strawberry plants produced in Italy are grown.
During the month of May there is a village food festival dedicated to this fruit, which lends itself to many dessert preparations and appetizing culinary creations.
