Since the opening of the hall in 1985, over 100 exhibitions have been held here. In 2001, the institution moved to a new headquarters, designed and implemented by the Swiss architectural office Herzog & de Meuron. The Art Hall in Munich works in close cooperation with various regional and national cultural institutions.
