A garden of 4,500 square meters in the heart of Naples Angioina full of trees, flowerbeds, shaded avenues and colorful flowers. The King Ladislaus Park, built as "accessory" of the nearby convent complex of San Giovanni a Carbonara, for centuries has represented a beautiful example of "hortus conclusus", an urban garden surrounded by the high walls of the convent and the palaces that overlooked – and still do peep out – the entire complex. A structure now practically emptied of its functions and of which only the church of the same name survives, which houses the remains of the monarch of the dynasty of Anjou-Durazzo. In 2001 the entire park, which was in very poor condition, was completely restored.
