At the same time, however, the Keukenhof, the world’s largest flower park, also opens its doors. The Keukenhof is a park with over 7 million bulb flowers planted every year. The gardens and four greenhouses offer a fantastic collection of tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, orchids, roses, carnations, irises, lilies and many other flowers. The Keukenhof is located exactly in Lisse, between Amsterdam and The Hague, in the heart of the bulb region. Each year the park is set up according to a particular theme, so the Keukenhof always offers new scenarios. It is an absolutely unique park that attracts more than one million visitors annually. Please note: tulips bloom from mid-March to mid-May, so the park is only open at this time of year.
