The Museum, located in the house where Joe Petrosino was born, is the only house-museum dedicated to a member of the forces of law and order. In this house on 30th August 1860 Giuseppe Petrosino was born. Within these walls the little Giuseppe lived until he was 13 years old, when in 1873 together with his father Prospero, tailor, and the whole family, he left for America. This case of ordinary emigration determined the destiny of Giuseppe who would later become the great, legendary Joe, the most famous policeman in America.
