The Jewish Museum "Y. Marini" offers documentation on the Nazi-Fascist persecutions carried out after the enactment of racial laws, flanked by an exhibition of sacred art objects from the Synagogue.
Worth mentioning is the valuable Hekhàl in carved wood, which escaped the bombardments of the Synagogue; according to tradition it was brought to Livorno by Jews coming from the Iberian Peninsula.
Also important is the collection of coral objects, an activity to which many members of the Jewish community of Livorno were dedicated.
