In the Ghetto Novo field, nestled between the two oldest Venetian synagogues, is the Jewish Museum of Venice, a small but very rich museum founded in 1953 by the Venetian Jewish Community. The valuable objects on display to the public, important examples of goldsmith and textile manufacture dating back to the 16th and 19th centuries, are evidence of the living Jewish tradition.
In addition to the museum it is possible to visit 3 of the 5 synagogues located between the New and Old ghettos.
