The last century has been a spectator of two events that have most mortified and marked the history of mankind: the two World Wars. But, as often happens, the echoes of the bloody battles are now too far away to be heard and the memory of those dramatic years is now blurred. In Rocchetta a Volturno, in a magnificent and ancient oil mill, the International Museum of the World Wars came to life. The accurate exposition, the originality of the materials and the meticulous historical reconstruction make the Museum an exceptional instrument through which this "truth" can be seen. now dormant, come back to life and, becoming tangible, help to remember. In the 900 square meters of exhibition space, skilfully set up, the museum guest will be able to experience at first hand the historical events of the two Wars, particularly enhanced by the beautiful natural setting offered by the view of Monte Marrone.
