The Indian’s Nose is nothing more than a peak sacred to the Maya, who in times past used to reach the summit to pray and perform religious rites, and that from its 2863 meters high dominates the valley of Lake Atitlan.
The hike up to the summit does not present too many difficulties and can be organized directly from San Pedro La Laguna in one of the many agencies that are in the center.
At dawn on the summit, the cold can be bitterly cold, but the view and the lights of dawn over the lake and the volcano completely repay the effort.
