Located in Argoules, in the green valley of the Authie, the abbey of Valloires was built in the XIIth century. century. At the foot of this Cistercian abbey there are magnificent gardens decorated with a variety of plants, flowers and shrubs. This nine hectare area counts no less than 5000 species and varieties of plants and shrubs! A dream place for the garden lovers… Rose garden, French garden, English garden (garden of the islands) and garden of the marsh, of the evolution and of the 5 senses, are revealed during the walk.
In August the abbey hosts an international chamber music festival, the Festival Valloires.
