Il Coral Castle in Florida

Coral Castle in Florida is a park of sculptures built by hand with primitive tools. The sculptures were created by the Latvian Edward Leedskalnin who spent 28 years sculpting them with coral stone. The sculptures, 1100 tons of coral, represent a monument to the woman who left him one day before their wedding. Leedskalnin also built a wall around his sculptures, working on his works alone every night.
