Haus steht Kopf, built in 2012 by Polish architects Irek Glowacki and Marek Rozanski, is located in Austria, in the small village of Terfens, about 20 minutes by car from Innsbruck. It is a structure built upside down, an upside down house designed to make you feel the strange sensation of being upside down. The world is upside down in Terfens: at least in the museum "Haus steht Kopf", the upside down house, visitors can visit a house completely furnished from the view of a bat. And so everyday life suddenly becomes interesting and exciting again, but beware: your senses might play a trick on you if the furniture hangs from the ceiling and you stay on the floor. Or is it the other way around? The main attraction is undoubtedly the blue Volkswagen Beetle which, of course, is parked in the garage…or is it hanging? The engine noises amplify the feeling of the absurdity of this situation.
