Hanged Sassuanian Cheese Horse
Hanging is nothing more than the slow cooking of the cheese on the embers: it remains dangling on the fire at a height of at least 30 cm, attached to its own "rope" far from direct contact with the embers below.
In a mixture of fire and flames, the rounded shape of the caciocavallo cheese, suspended between the sky and the embers, gives a good idea of the dairy "sacrifice".
