Haiku – The stairway to paradise
The route leads to a height of 850 metres to the top of Mount Pu’u Keahi in Kahoe. As you ascend through the dense tropical forest you are enveloped in a dark light and a crisp breeze, as you climb the steps, the clouds seem to slowly disperse (also because it is generally recommended to start the ascent at around 5 a.m. to enjoy the sunrise on arrival) until once at the top you are rewarded by a breathtaking view of Oahu, which is perhaps the most beautiful part of the hike.
