In this recipe we invite you to try a variation of the gnocchi recipe that will really make you lick your lips. They are gnocchi alla sorrentina, a typical dish of Neapolitan cuisine, one of the many dishes that crown the city of Naples as the "home" of taste.
Made with flour, potatoes and water, after having been boiled in a pot containing plenty of water, they are seasoned with meat sauce, basil, parmesan cheese and fiordilatte (a type of cow’s milk cheese) and are baked in the middle part of the oven, after having been placed in the "pignatiello" (an earthenware pan typical of the culinary art of Campania). Finally they are served hot and steaming.
