Pasticceria Giordanino, founded in 1912, is based in the center of Asti. Over the years it has been able to maintain the beautiful original Art Nouveau furnishings, which still serve as a backdrop for the array of delicacies made here daily. Among the delicacies of this exclusive establishment: alfierini, pralines bearing the effigy of Vittorio Alfieri; Torta del Palio, dedicated to the city’s most important event; and Torta Cabiria, named after the title of the first Italian silent film, directed by an Asti native, Giovanni Pastrone.
