Freudenberg is one of those places that leave visitors breathless. It is a small mediveal town situated in the German province of North Rhine-Westphalia. This awesome town covers an aria of 54.5 square kilometers and there life about 20,000 residents. Freudenberg is one of the most popular small towns in Germany. The city center is recognized as a “monument of international significance.”Freudenberg is a perfect destination for family vacation far away from the noise from the big cities.A single one lane road passes through the Altstadt (the old town center) by the Rathaus (Town Hall) constructed in 1605. This means that the German village is easy to explore on foot.The old part of the city called “Alter Flecken”, is the most famous part of Freudenberg. It is consists of about fifty wooden houses. All of the houses are almost with the same size and restored after major fire. These unusual houses are the reason why Freudenberg is so attractive place in Germany.
