Also known as Piazza Maggiore, it is one of the largest squares in Italy. In the center of the square is a 19th-century fountain, while on one of the sides it is bordered by the aqueduct built by Manfredi in the 13th century. This square has also been the site of the re-enactment of the Joust of Chivalry, which involves the four sestieri and three boroughs of the city, for almost two decades now.
