Visitors can discover the beautiful Bérard waterfall located near a larch forest. Legend recounts that the nineteenth century counterfeiter, Farinet, whilst being pursued by the police, found refuge in the cave behind the waterfall. The man was famous in the region, a kind of Robin Hood figure, who produced counterfeit money to distribute to the poor.
This is a lovely spot for a picnic and the nearby snack bar also has a terrace. There are some very pleasant walks around the waterfall and in the steep valley.
