It’s called Foula and it’s a magical island in Britain inhabited more by ponies than people. Just 30 people live here and hundreds of cute little ponies. The fairytale island lies off the coast of Scotland and is a true paradise for romantics and fairytale lovers.
The small horses and are found on Foula Island since the Bronze Age, where they were bred and trained, before spreading all over the world. The ponies roam the prairies of the island undisturbed, even approaching the settlements and are particularly intelligent. Many of them have been trained as guide horses (instead of dogs) and they are pampered by tourists and locals.
