Fontina Museum
In order to provide correct and exhaustive information on its activities, the Cooperative, in 2003, inaugurated the Visitor Centre at the Valpelline warehouse.
The Centre is divided into three sections: one dedicated to history, one to the territory and one to the way milk is transformed into Fontina.
Through the projection of a video, a gallery of images and a small but interesting museum, in a few minutes the visitor gets into the heart of all those aspects that characterize the production of Fontina.
All this can be followed, in a particularly suggestive environment, by a visit to the warehouse, during which it is explained, with passion and competence, how the cheeses are cared for manually one by one and how they evolve from the moment they enter the warehouse until they reach optimal ripeness.
