The Livio de Carolis Fountain is a monumental fountain in the city of Frosinone. It is located in Piazza della Madonna della Neve. The fountain consists of a large basin with a four-lobed basin, in the middle of which stands a cup with a spout. From the water emerge four small columns with spouts facing the cup. At the sides of the basin are two columns surmounted by marble spheres. The columns have the shaft sculpted with representations of pigeons in the act of pecking ears of corn, and are placed on quadrangular bases that each have two basins with their spouts. The fountain is attributed to the architect and engraver Alessandro Specchi, known as the author, together with the architect Francesco De Sanctis, of the famous Spanish Steps in Rome. Specchi designed the fountain in 1711, in the immediate vicinity of the pre-existing Sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve, at the behest of Livio de Carolis, Marquis of Prossedi and General of the Papal Post Office. The latter also commissioned Specchi a large palace in Via del Corso in Rome, known as Palazzo De Carolis.
