Prophet Elias Monastery From Pyrgos, ascend on the southeast asphalt road to reach the Prophet Elias Monastery, which is 4.2 km away. The monastery offers panoramic views and a quiet atmosphere.
Second Stop: Exo Gonia To reach Exo Gonia, turn left at the entrance of Pyrgos and drive along a winding road beneath the castle, flanked by vineyards. Final Destination: Kamari Continuing 1.5 km ahead from Episkopi Gonia will bring you to Kamari Beach, a popular spot for sunbathing and watersports. If you’re up for more exploration, you can ascend from there to Mesa Vouno to visit the ancient site of Thera.
